HARJOITTELU / PRACTICE

KESÄKAUSI
(TOUKO - SYYSKUU)

Seuran kesäkauden harjoitteluun käytetään Puijon urheilualueella hiihtostadionista kaupunkiin päin olevaa hiekkakenttää Suurmäentien ja Puijonrinteentien välissä (kartta).

Seuran "viralliset" harjoitteluvuorot ovat tiistaina ja torstaina klo 18:00- 21:00, mutta jäsenet saavat ampua ulkoradalla muulloinkin noudattaen Puijon Jousiampumaradan käyttösääntöjä. Radan molemmilla tuloväylillä olevat "ammunta käynnissä" -varoituskyltit tulee paljastaa ampumisen ajaksi ja sulkea ammunnan jälkeen.

SUMMER SEASON
(MAY - SEPTEMBER) 

During summertime the club members practice in the archery field locating close to Puijo hill, at the Puijo sport area. The archery field locates some 150 m from the ski stadium towards the city center between Suurmäentie and Puijonrinteentie (map). Puijo hill is among the most famous tourist attractions of Kuopio city. The hill is covered by old forests (mostly spruce). Majority of the Puijo hill area is protected since 1928. There is a beautiful view from the hill over the Lake Kallavesi.

The "official" practicing days are Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00. The members can use the field also other times following the Guidelines for the Puijo archery field. There are warning signs at both entrances to the field which have to be opened when shooting and then closed after shooting. 

TALVIKAUSI
(LOKA - HUHTIKUU)

Talvikauden harjoittelu tapahtuu Kotkankallion luolastossa (Niiralankatu, kartta) seuraavina ajankohtina

Tiistaisin 18:00-20:00 (rautaportista luolan perälle)
Torstaisin 18:00-20:00 (rautaportista luolan perälle) 
Sunnuntaisin 18:00-20:00 (rautaportista luolan perälle)

WINTER SEASON 

(OCTOBER - APRIL) 

Practicing during winter takes place in Kotkankallio cave (Niiralankatu, map)

Tuesday 18:00-20:00 (whole cave from the iron gate)
Thursday 18:00-20:00 (whole cave from the iron gate)
Sunday 18:00-20:00 (whole cave from the iron gate)
